IMA - is growing

IMA - the leading German trade fair - is growing. More than 200 exhibitors will present their latest products and concepts at the International Trade Fair for Amusement and Vending Machines (IMA) in January 2009 in Düsseldorf. IMA 2008 has already reported an eight percent increase in visitor numbers, 15 percent more exhibitors and an almost 20 percent increase in exhibition area.

According to information from IMA organisers Reed Exhibitions, the growth in exhibitor numbers is to be expected from the segment of amusement cash winning machines and the international sector. Increases are also likely in the management, networks and accessories sectors. The new IMA section Bowling World will also attract new exhibitors to the fair. Bowling World will be a special section with attractive packages for the bowling sector - it is one of the core innovations at IMA 2009. For IMA this means significant growth. And the bowling sector will have an attractive international stage to present its competitive potential. For four days, manufacturers and service providers from the bowling sector can present their products and concepts to the large number of visitors to the fair. The show's organisers believe significant synergies exist between the machine and bowling sectors "Amusement machines are to be found in every bowling centre. And many machine companies also invest in bowling. Therefore, having Bowling World as a part of IMA really makes sense," says Reed Event Director Petra Lassahn.
