The European distributor for Texas Hold ‘Em Heads Up Challenge, Cosmic Video Amusements, reports that since launching into Europe, five months ago, it has machines in eleven different countries and growing.
"We have concentrated during the past months on securing partners across Europe. The games are being very well received with cash boxes to match," said CVA's MD John Farrington, prior to launching the commercial product at Preview 2009 in London, for the UK.
Whilst established as a leading UK distributor, CVA is a newcomer to the European sales market but is enjoying the challenge. "This is another new era for CVA and we are enjoying every minute of it," said Farrington. "While many of our new partners were already known to us during our thirty years in the industry, the opening of new markets for this fantastic entertainment product is reinvigorating the whole company."
Seen here with John Farrington is the Norwegian distributor Morten Klein, a very enthusiastic competition poker player himself. "We have made a very good initial inroad into our market, with bars eager to find a new entertainment game to attract customers, it's a great game," commented Klein. CVA is still considering distributors to fulfill potential territories for this product.
