The first meeting of the cultural industry development team of Zhuhai city, Guangdong province was held on August 6; "The Temporary Practice Measure of the Special Fund of Zhuhai's Cultural Developments" was deliberated and passed in principle, and will be announced officially soon.
Zhuhai government's decision to accelerate cultural business had a great outcome in the end. In recent years, Zhuhai's cultural industry has developed rapidly. The gross revenue of the industry in 2007 was nearly RMB 25.77 billion; an increase of almost 25 per cent. At present there are more than 20 cultural development projects in Zhuhai city.
