A good start for Basque Betting Companies

Kiroljokoa and Reta have seen more than 15,000 bets placed since they opened. The two betting houses consider this to be a real success. It could not be otherwise: Kiroljokoa and Reta (Ekasa), the two Basque sports betting companies that started their operations in late September, are more than satisfied with the response from sports fans. Both have achieved a high operational performance. Kiroljokoa, based in Eibar, has seen 7,000 bets placed during the first few days of operation.

The Bilbao Reta has exceeded 8,000. In total that is more than 15,000 bets in less than a month. A real success. The amounts placed have been small in most cases: one euro in the central premises in Eibar and Vitoria, and in the numerous bars in the various localities where they have already been installed. The bets are most frequently placed on football, tennis and pelota. Then come cycle races, motorcycle races and Formula 1. The third licence holder Garaipen Victoria Apostuak, through its Director of Marketing, Emma Mateos, announced that its expansion plan envisages the opening of 67 amusement arcades in the Basque country. Specifically 27 arcades in Bizkaia, 9 in Álava and 31 in Guipúzcoa. Of these, eight will be halls with an area of 35 m2 which will be dedicated to this new leisure segment.
