Bally Wulff: International success
Published:  03 December, 2008

For several years already, German giant Bally Wulff Entertainment has constantly provided new and exciting entertainment for the Spanish market.

Ever since the trailblazing introduction of Lejano Oeste Video, a machine combining the traditional reel game with video animation for the first time, the Berlin AWP manufacturer has always remained a trendsetter.

This year's Interazar in Madrid again showcased two very promising machines for the Iberian peninsula: Bally's Chicago is a traditional reel game, Royal Bank combines this technology with modern video sequences, thus continuing the successful formula of Lejano Oeste.

"With our machines we have succeeded to precisely meet the requirements of the respective markets. This has never been easy, as the interests of Spanish players are often different from the requirements on the German market. Of course, first of all it is our intention to provide eventful gaming fun with our machines, regardless of the country concerned. However, this does not mean that a machine which is successful in Germany is also automatically successful in other countries. Due to our many years of experience on both markets we know the different preferences of each country, and this enables us to adjust our machines accordingly," comments Tim Wittenbecher, managing director and export manager at Bally Wulff Entertainment.

The Berlin-based company is on the right track again with their new products for the Spanish market: the reel machine Bally's Chicago achieved best results in testing locations. This indicates that Bally's Chicago is the ideal machine for wide-ranging distribution.

In order to supply the Spanish market even better in the future, Bally Wulff Entertainment made a contract with another distributor. Apart from longstanding partner Costa Calida, the Carfama company, situated in the Asturias province, will now also handle the distribution of Bally Wulff's machines.

Further co-operations are being planned and could already be concluded at the IMA 2009, which will be held in Düsseldorf, Germany from 13 to 16 January 2009.

In Germany, Bally Wulff's main market, the company has launched a promising mix of multigame machines and machines for the gastronomy. With the introduction of Royal Casino Bally Wulff is continuing the course away from single games to multigame machines, and at the same time gained a technological headstart against its competitors. With its 42 inch-monitor, touchscreen interface and newly developed games this machine sets new standards for modern multigame entertainment.

The multigame series is completed by Multi Casino, which has already been launched on the market in a second edition as Multi Casino II. As a result of the co-operation with Austrian partner Amatic, it provides eventful entertainment in German arcades with 31 different games.

At the same time Bally Wulff wants to regain locations in the gastronomy, which have strongly decreased during the last few years. To meet these special demands, Bally Wulff is offering a range of traditional AWPs. With Baba Jaga, X-Cross, Neon, Hexentanz and BlueOxigen, proprietors get the opportunity to acquire machines with payouts adapted for the gastronomy and at favourable conditions. The modern 3D technology and attractive design also appeal to new players, and the machines can be perfectly integrated into the interior design of event-oriented cafés and themed pubs.

And from now on, Bally Wulff also provides a complete range of sports games: apart from traditional billiard tables and soccer tables, the Berlin company is now introducing a darts machine with two »faces«: Galaxy II offers the opportunity to play the American Bullshooter Darts, as well as the European Löwen-Darts on one machine.
