WEBAK GAMES, founded in 1982 and based in Gmunden/Austria, was the first independent non-German company to obtain PTB approval under the new German AWP laws in January 2007.
Webak initially entered the market with its cabinet Casino Elegance Slim I and the proven and successful game Bell Scatter, this was well received by the players both in Germany and internationally and it is still a huge success today. The appeal of this classical five-reel game Bell Scatter lies in the simple, but at the same time diversified play with smart additional winning features.
Webak next obtained PTB approval for its cabinet Casino Elegance Slim II, which contained five games from the start. Consequently, it became a Multigame machine. Furthermore, an internal progressive Jackpot-system across all games was introduced to the German market. This new Webak development became very popular with players.
In April 2008 the company obtained PTB approval for its new cabinet Casino Future Line I. This comes with a 19" monitor and touchscreen technology. On the large monitor, the Webak graphics become even more impressive. In this multigamer, the internal Jackpot has been remained unchanged and new games were introduced.
Because of their slim style, all Webak cabinets are suited for operation in pubs as well as in gaming arcades. For effective location-marketing the attractive "Webak Center" is on offer with optional bar stools, side tables or glass screen.
The Webak double monitor cabinet is now on the verge of being launched onto the German market (PTB approval pending). This will already include the newest requirements of the German gaming law. Furthermore, a wall-mounted machine is currently in production.
The necessary adjustments to the already approved cabinets according to the newest PTB guidelines are also under way.
And, naturally, Webak is at all times engaged in the further development of new games on based on its proven LINUX platform. Webak is proud of the fact, that all games are developed 100 % in house, thereby providing even more security.
Webak is planning to open a new office in Germany in due course and has already appointed Benjamin Hattingberg to further develop the distribution activities within Germany. Benjamin Hattingberg recently joined Webak after 11 years of relevant experience in the gaming industry with companies such as Löwen, Bally and most recently Neox Gaming.
