Gamestec has announced the appointment of Peter Davies as its new Business Development Director.
Davies, formerly Director of Business Development at Games Media, takes up his new role on Monday 27th October and will head up a newly established team responsible for developing commercial opportunities in both existing and emerging markets. Davies brings with him considerable industry experience having previously held senior management positions at Barcrest Group; prior to which he has worked in number of customer relationship and product development roles with both Music Hire Group (now Gamestec) and Bass Leisure.
Commenting on his move to Gamestec, Peter Davies said: "With the acquisition of Inspired's Pub Division earlier this year, this is a very exciting time to be joining the business. Gamestec is a forward thinking organisation that has a clear business plan to consolidate its market leading position and deliver sustainable, profitable business growth. I am looking forward to joining a great team and taking up a portfolio which includes new product research and development, product marketing and business development across current and new market sectors."
Adrian Ah-Chin-Kow, Commercial Director at Gamestec added: "We're delighted that Peter is joining us at Gamestec and are confident that his depth of experience across all areas of the industry - both in traditional manufacturing operations, and also in new innovation - will be invaluable to the business. He brings thought leadership to Gamestec on the future state and possibilities of operating in the market place, and will be central to the development of new, compelling product offerings."
