The Hollywood Bowl in Watford has made history by becoming the first venue in the United Kingdom to install the complete prize redemption and marketing set-ups on Clena-Flex, Bandai Namco Games' top earning 100 per cent skill game.
Eve Oliver, Hollywood Bowl's electronic leisure machine manager, confirmed: "Clena-Flex arrived in the UK with a strong operating pedigree gained in Japan. That pedigree, combined with the important refinements undertaken by Namco to suit domestic player profiles, makes Clena-Flex an extremely important element within our broadly based electronic leisure offering. The latest set-ups offer strong game play with great prizes, complemented by seasonal music, which encourages repeat plays."
John Brennan, product manager for Bandai Namco Games, explained: "It would have been easy for us to simply site what is Japan's top performing game here in the UK. However we chose to take a longer term view, with our development team making strategic refinements to the game in order to satisfy the specific requirements of the domestic player base. This attention to detail has resulted in the creation of what is recognised as one of the industry's star performers: an entertainment skill product which has set the standard to which every other prize merchandiser now aspires."
