The Trade Rugby representatives "The Old Vulgarians" were recently in action again at the World Rugby Golden Oldies Festival held in Edinburgh, Scotland.
To mark the support from the Amusement and Allied Trades and in keeping with other sponsored sporting events it was proposed that 50% of all funds raised would be donated to the BACTA Charitable Trust. The presentation took place at the recent BACTA Conference in London.
From left in the picture are Frank Ballouz, David Gershlick presenting the cheque for £1,200 to Steve Hawkins from BACTA London Home Counties and Jimmy Thomas, BACTA Charitable Trust Chairman.
Frank and David played in the three matches against Southern hemisphere teams in the festival, enjoyed by the 4000 other participants from all over the rugby playing world.
