Elmar Brok, Member of the European Parliament, will open the International Trade Fair for Amusement and Vending Machines (IMA) on 13 January 2009. In doing so, Brok is continuing the tradition of prominent speakers opening the leading European trade fair for the coin-operated machine industry. Last year the Parliamentary Secretary of State for the Federal Minister of Economics and Technology, Dagmar Wöhl, opened the exhibition with a statement of policy. Paul Gauselmann, Chairman of the German Coin-operated Machine Industry Association will also be speaking at the opening ceremony. This year's ceremony will be held at 11 AM on the first day of the event in Hall Nord A (via IMA Entrance Nord B). The IMA will be inviting the opening ceremony guests to a reception from 10.30 AM.
