Barcrest is ready
Published:  09 March, 2009

Having planned well in advance for a review of stakes and prizes, Barcrest Group showed no less than 15 new Category C products with a £70 jackpot. The good news that bingo clubs were to be granted additional Category B3 positions also created a lot of interest in Barcrest Group's £500 range of games. The unique community gaming product ‘Rainbow Riches Win Big Shindig', was revealed as an ideal contender for bingo clubs looking to gain maximum benefit from the extra positions. Captain Jackpot, a Category C £70 community gaming product, also received enthusiastic approval from visitors.

Making a debut on the stand was the stunning new D.I.C.E. cabinet, housing a wide range of SWP games, including Star Wars. Other show-stoppers included the Star Wars Trilogy and the Hall of Fame centrepiece, both designed to show off famous titles like the Star Wars series of games, Alien, Terminator and Indiana Jones.

Barcrest Group also demonstrated video and reel-based games for continental Europe.  Lucky Saloon, Big Bucks and Neptune's Treasure are a suite of three games designed in the UK by Barcrest Games especially for the Italian market.

Making a debut at the show was Pinball, a brand new concept for Spain designed by Red Gaming. A pinball game replaces reels on the bottom game to create a unique game format. Also shown for the first time was a trio of games for the Czech Republic. which link together using Red Gaming's Bonus Pot Link System for added appeal.  The games, Aztec Gold, Haunted House and High Five are housed in the Rio cabinet and linked with a ‘wave' of hotboxes and topboxes.

Sister company Cyberview Technology, sharing the stand, presented its market-leading server-based gaming system, including terminals and games for the UK LBO market, plus Malta, Slovakia and the Czech Republic. Million-2-1 showcased Barcrest Group's slots games for remote gaming markets. Games for the mobile platform, including Hi 5, Elvis and Dracula, were demonstrated live on the stand.  Internet games Elvis Top 20 and Cashino, currently live on Sky Vegas, also created quite a stir.  A lot of interest was generated by games in the pipeline including the legendary Rainbow Riches, Cashino and famous names Cleopatra and Monopoly.
