Global Payment Technologies (GPT) showed its new, lower-cost bill validator, Falcon, at the EELEX Show in Moscow and the Entertainment Industry Exhibition in Kiev.
The Falcon is a successor to GPT’s highly successful Aurora bill validator, created in the same envelope, and has enhanced processing and validation speeds, integrated barcode reader, plus the high-security features synonymous with GPT bill validators. Falcon is ideal for use in gaming machines as well as payment terminals and its high-security, lower-cost and enhanced speeds will be sure to impress visitors to these shows. In addition to Falcon, GPT showed the new 2000 Bill Stacker, which is designed for the payment terminal market but will also be of interest in gaming.
GPT also exhibited its SA-4 bill validator, which has proved a hit with Russian players. The SA-4’s speed (1.7 seconds when used with a GPT Fast Stacker) has helped to increase revenue in gaming machines, leading the operators to buy more and more of these validators as an upgrade to their existing Argus Bill Validators.
