After several months of stress over its problems in trying to ensure its new Superleague range of pool tables would be worthy of the illustrious name they bore, Hazelgrove Superleague's products impressed not only visitors to the company's stand at the IGX Show but also, it appears, members of the staff who had bourne that stress.
A spokesman for the company said the show had been a good one with the new Superleague Imperial table looking marvellous. He said: "It was certainly not outshone by any of the other tables on display elsewhere. I felt very proud to be part of the company that had produced such a wonderful looking table." A modest Eric Lewis, who has had to bear the slings and arrows of the problems that have beset his company as the tables have been developed, would no doubt agree even if in rather more modest terms.
Before the show Lewis had said his company would be concentrating in the main on its top of the range electronic Superleague Imperial table but others will be available
