Namco Europe has secured the exclusive rights for subsidiaries Brent Sales and Bandai Namco Games to distribute upgrade kits for Raw Thrills' iconic driving game, The Fast and the Furious Drift. The agreement, which was ratified in the week prior to London's ATEI, covers the UK, Ireland, continental Europe and the Middle East.
John Brennan, Namco Europe Product Manager, believes that the ratification will provide some clarity to the market. He explained: "Our relationship with Raw Thrills is long, uninterrupted and positive. As a pro-active distributor, we work extremely closely with the Raw Thrills team on all aspects of product representation and marketing in Europe. This exclusive agreement is an extension of that very positive and successful relationship."
Mark Struhs of Raw Thrills confirmed: "Brent/Namco have been an excellent business partner, helping enormously to build both our international profile and our market share. Ours is a blueprint of how manufacturer/distributor relationships should work and I am delighted to confirm this latest exclusive."
