PayLink drivers have been created by Money Controls for use on the Linux platform to enable more gaming operators to take advantage of its innovative “central technology hub” for PCbased amusement and gaming machines.
PayLink already has a proven track record of performance with Windows and the addition of Linux means its success will continue to grow, particularly in the gaming market.
The module allows the swift and simple integration of payment peripherals, so that cash-handling components, such as note/coin acceptors and hoppers, can be harnessed quickly to new machine platforms with no need for bespoke software, dramatically reducing the time to market for OEMs and operators. It allows vital software updates, ensuring machines are future-proof.
PayLink is easily connected to USB enabled PCs and uses a variety of industry-standard protocols to communicate with peripherals, such as ccTalk, Ardac 2, ID003 and another recent addition, the vending protocol MDB.
