Leading UK gaming and amusement machine operator Gamestec has expanded its long-term relationship with the dynamic pub and bar company Barracuda Group.
Under the terms of the new deal, Gamestec has doubled its coverage of the Barracuda estate. Gamestec will now manage gaming and amusement machines for 80 per cent of Barracuda’s sites.
The new deal reflects Gamestec’s continued commitment to networked product development and its consistent focus on cashbox performance across Barracuda sites.
Barracuda has been particularly impressed with Gamestec’s services and broad range of innovative products. Integral to Barracuda’s decision was the continued rollout of Midas Wireless across Gamestec’s and Barracuda’s businesses.
Midas is unique to Gamestec and is the industry’s largest remote machine-management system, which offers customers a range of benefits and ensures that machine uptime is at an optimum, enhancing revenue opportunities.
Steve Barber (pictured right), director of national accounts at Gamestec, said, “We are delighted that Barracuda has chosen to further expand and extend its contract with Gamestec and we view this as the perfect opportunity to build on our partnership, taking the business forward through continued product innovation and investment, and focusing on growing machine revenues.”
Richard Stringer (pictured), Barracuda operations controller, added, “This is a fantastic opportunity for both companies to further build on an already established working relationship and provides an extended service to our customers.”
