The 2007 edition of the Amusement Trades Exhibition International (ATEI) will offer visitors the world’s broadest range of new products and services. And for the first time, the show will be divided into distinct zones of gaming and non-gaming equipment covering over 60 individual product sectors.
Three months ahead of the doors opening, organiser Clarion ATE announced that confirmed stand space across Earls Court 1’s Ground floor (gaming equipment) and Level 1 (amusements) is well balanced, with a ratio of around 45:55. At the end of October, contracted bookings had reached 212 companies spread over a total net floor space of 10,525sq m. (113,243sq ft).
Amusements suppliers on Level 1 currently number 163 and together occupy 5,823sq m (62,655sq ft) of floor space. Travelling down the escalators to the Ground floor, industry professionals will encounter larger displays of gaming equipment currently 49 exhibitor stands with a combined net floor space of 4,702sq m (50,594sq ft). From here, visitors with a deeper commercial interest in gaming will have free access to the adjacent ICE (casino) and ICEi (remote gaming) sectors, together adding a further 275-plus exhibits to the London offering.
The hugely international flavour of ATEI is also reflected in the exhibitor breakdown, with 49.5 per cent of confirmed exhibiting companies (105) based in 23 countries outside the UK. Italy is once again on course to be the most represented country, with 19 companies signed up for January’s event.
Next is Spain with 14 exhibitors, followed by Poland (10), Taiwan (9), the USA (7) and Canada (5). Austria, France, the Netherlands and Ukraine will each have at least four exhibitors present while Belgium, China, Germany and Korea have three each and the Czech Republic, Ireland, Japan and Portugal two each. Also represented by exhibiting companies are Denmark, Malta, Russia, San Marino and the Slovak Republic.
