Bally Wulff plans to make IMA the new ATEI
Published:  01 December, 2006

Bally Wulff will use the domestic show IMA to underline its position as a European rather than just a German manufacturer. In particular, Bally Wulff wants to highlight its success in the Spanish market by unveiling two new machines for that sector Lejano Oeste Rodillos and La Bruja - both of which use a video interface.

Tim Wittenbecher, international sales manager for Bally Wulff, said of the decision: “Our export profits have tripled in the last year and these new machines not only show the power of our innovation in Spain, they also show the way forward for Germany.”

Wittenbecher hopes that the new IMA in Düsseldorf will increase in importance compared with the ATEI. “The London trade fair at Earls Court attracts operators from all over the world every year,” he said. “The new location in Düsseldorf allows the IMA to gain ground again to become the hub of events for the international coin-op industry in the long run. Bally Wulff wants to contribute to this by setting the focus on export markets.”
