Electrocoin held a competition at The Flag in Watford, a Mitchells & Butlers location, for places at the Golden Tee Live Regional Open in New York State, as well as for places on the European team at next year’s World Championship, which will take place in Las Vegas.
The winner was Neil McGuinness from Cheshire, who has qualified for both events, while runner-up Andy Wallis from Hemel Hempstead will be part of the European team.
Electrocoin’s Kevin Weir stated, “There are still two places at the World Championship up for grabs. We are currently formulating the qualification process, but I can confirm that we are in discussions with a number of operators and retailers regarding bespoke tournaments that will see players in their specific locations winning major prizes, or even one of the coveted places at the World Championship. We can tailor competitions within groups of pubs that really add value for their customers. They get to enter two competitions for the price of one, with a chance of winning major prizes.”
