Almotech Ireland, manufacturer of the Mystro digital audio/video jukebox, is making its second trip to ATEI accompanied by its UK distributor, Adelphi Coin.
This time last year, the Mystro was making its first public appearance outside Ireland, where it had gained a very substantial share of the digital jukebox market. Bernard Mayers of Adelphi Coin was very impressed by the Mystro’s features and build at last year’s show and was appointed the UK distributor shortly after the show. As a result the distinctive outline of the wallmounted Mystro is now seen in many UK locations.
While the shape remains the same, the Mystro appearing at this year’s exhibition has taken on a whole new look, as it will now be possible to customise the glass and metalwork to reflect the needs of an operator or advertiser.
This exciting development is brought about as a result of suggestions made by existing users, both at home and abroad, on possible improvements to the looks and advertisement potential of the jukebox.
Improvements to the Mystro are not merely skin deep. The user/operator software has been reworked from the ground up, to give a more feature-packed and friendlier interface.
A new Power Search facility allows users to quickly find the track they are looking for among the thousands of files on the system. Category (genre) choices have been extended to assist users in quickly bringing up a selection of their type of music.
The Mystro has started to travel to foreign shores and, with European users in mind; the user interface now has multi-language support. A user touches a flag symbol and the interface changes to French, German, Italian etc. It is possible to configure the interface to accommodate any requested language grouping.
