In conjunction with Ocio y Recreativo Andaluz (ORA), Comatel has run a number of training sessions for the technical staff of companies operating in the lesiure and amusement sector in Andalucia. During these four days, more than 200 people attended the short courses.
In charge of the conferences was Enrique Navarro, R&D director at the Comatel Group, and Esteban Cano, head of the technical department at ORA. The central themes revolved around products currently being marketed by the company such as roulette from the Austrian firm Amatic, and machines from the English companies Bell-Fruit Games and JPM, with the introduction of its latest model in the world of reel machines, Bank Raid. Comatel emphasised its exclusive arrangement with Japan Cash Machine to run its official service centre in Spain. Japan Cash Machine is the prestigious manufacturer of note handlers found in the majority of models intended for the Spanish market. Navarro who was in charge of the presentations and discussions, was very satisfied with the welcome, the participation and the interest. “It is extremely important that the people who work for the operators who provide a daily service and solve problems, should understand the operation of this type of equipment which is becoming increasingly sophisticated and the importance of care and maintenance. For example, the problems that can be avoided by always keeping the roulette ball clean,” he said.
