Two major gaming industry companies based in Russia have selected the new Densitron DPX-112 platform for their next generation of games.
Boris Ladogin, vice-president of Fair Play Moscow, commented: “I am pleased to state that after the comprehensive selection and testing process, Igrosoft and Fair Play have finally selected DPX-112 as the major platform for its future game projects. The Igrosoft software developers rate this product highly due to its advanced capabilities and excellent performance characteristics. As far as I am concerned, DPX is an outstanding product and has many advantages over other similar products.”
The DPX-112 is the third new product released by Densitron Gaming in 2006 and provides customers with a complete gaming platform on one board. Included are all the interfaces needed for a typical gaming device as well as features for security and international regulatory approvals.
The DPX-112 is designed to industrial standards for reliable operation in casino environments and for long production life cycles. Based on the hugely successful Intel Centrino chipset and featuring long life-cycle chipsets and CPUs, the DPX-112 is a high-performance platform that will meet the needs of gaming OEMs in the long term.
Craig Stapleton, Densitron’s product manager, commented, “We are very pleased to make this design-win announcement, which is the culmination of many months of discussions between the parties. It is a great example of Densitron’s engineers and management listening to our customers’ requests, both technical and commercial. We then set about designing products to exactly meet those needs. In this case, the DPX-112 was a design completed within the space of five months. We look forward to a long and successful collaboration between the Densitron, Fair Play and Igrosoft companies.”
