“I have two healthy children of my own, so I really want to help other families who are not so fortunate,” he says. “I must admit, I am getting more nervous as time goes on, as I don’t want to let down the people who have sponsored me,” he adds. “We are so proud of Julian’s efforts to raise money for such a worthy cause,” says Playsafe Monitoring’s Managing Director David Stenning. “He has only taken up running again fairly recently, although he was keen on the sport as a teenager.
