At its company meeting on September 21, Funworld AG made the decision to take over all the shares in Fun.net Germany formerly held by NSM-Löwen Entertainment.
The Austrian Photo Play manufacturer Funworld already held 50 per cent in its German partner. As NSM-Löwen Entertainment Managing Director Christian Arras emphasised, the firm wants to concentrate more strongly on the sale of interests in its core AWP business. The sale will not result in any changes for Fun.net customers, according to statements from the businesses involved. The successful co-operation of Fun.net Germany with the Löwen sales and distribution department and Löwen branches will continue as usual.
At the same time, two new managing directors have been appointed at Fun.net. Thomas Keitz from Fun.net International – a Photo Play professional and an expert in the German market – is taking over the operational business immediately. Marco Huter, marketing and sales director with Funworld, will in future be responsible for strategic planning. The management team is completed by Christopher Röricht, who has been sales director with power of attorney at Fun.net for nearly a year.
