Cogetech, one of the 10 companies that was granted a licence to operate Newslot in Italy, has renounced its role as technological partner in the Rovereta gaming establishment in San Marino.
In a press statement issued by the Milanese company it states that “After having been chosen as technological partner with a 25 per cent share in the joint company responsible for the management of the Rovereta gaming establishment, Cogetech S.P.A. has announced that it has decided not to go any further with this plan. “The conditions are lacking, above all in the last few days, that were guaranteed to our company to operate with the serenity and the professionalism that marks us out - states Fabio Schiavolin, M.D. of Cogetech. “The situation, the political climate, the insinuations and the doubts over the last few days have become indefensible and would have certainly been an obstacle to the tranquillity necessary to face up to plans of this type. Hence the decision to focus on the domestic market and not to continue with the purchase and running of the Rovereta organisation,” he added.
