In the first 38 days of its operation, the implementation of the system designed by the Catalan company IPS, known as Hyperlink and managed by the Adeslink company, has been able to connect into its system 49 arcades with 401 interconnecting machines.
During this period 63,949 euros in prize money have been paid out. The arcades connected to Adeslink have given four prizes a day with an average value of 2,504 euros. In June the official opening of Adeslink’s Hyperlink took place in Jaén in Andalucia. At the company’s General Meeting, the first set of results was announced since its inauguration. More than a hundred of the arcades were represented. Also present to hear the results were the full Board of Adeslink, Mr. Antonio Vallejo from the General Department of Gaming, Mr. José Luis Rodriguez from the Jaén regional government and representatives of IPS. From a technological point of view the first cumulative prize system to link Spanish arcades has certainly stood up to the demands placed on it, remaining fully operational 100% of the time, with no reported incidents. Francesc Folguera, Director General of IPS, presented the newly launched Adeslink website, from which the arcades can already gain access in real-time to a restricted area containing detailed information.
