Namco Europe has announced details of several new additions to its Fun Factory collection of family amusements games. At least seven new products will be revealed for the first time when they make their maiden trade show appearance on the stand of UK distributor Brent Sales at October’s Preview exhibition in London.
On show for the first time will be centrepiece Superdeluxe formats of the recently released video drivers, Namco’s Maximum Tune 3 and Raw Thrills’ Fast & Furious Drift, both of which comprise four-unit banks set on a purpose built platform featuring overhead displays, graphics and lighting effect. A brand new skill vendor from Bandai Namco Games has arrived and test figures show a rise to the top of income charts at some notable seasonal locations in 2007. Another new BNG product is a 100 per cent skill two-player prize vendor, which has passed a rigorous technical and income test programme and makes its Preview debut in full production format. Making European debuts for Brent/Namco are two modular photo booths produced by renowned US manufacturer, Fantasy Entertainment. ‘Portrait to Anywhere’ offers customers the opportunity to be photographed at over 20 world famous landmarks including the Eiffel Tower, Taj Mahal, Hollywood, Great Pyramids, Coliseum, Statue of Liberty and Grand Canyon. Further holiday-style treatments and artistic options are also available. ‘Foto Cube’ takes four poses and outputs a ready-cut and self-adhesive edged template ready for the customer to form their own cube. A variety of selectable themes are available with further options for operators to incorporate their own marketing messages. Licensed from a hit TV game series and manufactured by ICE, a new ticket redemption game has also been added to the Brent/Namco range, which the company believes will be a ‘sure fire winner’. It features in a stylised cabinet incorporating 32-inch LCD screen, multi-button and rollerball console, plus further options of an illuminated platform and stool for ultra realistic show-style atmosphere.
Zytronic, a leading designer and manufacturer of Projected Capacitive Techology-based touch sensors, has appointed Display Technology. as a new distributor. Under the terms of the agreement, Display Technology will offer Zytronic’s entire product portfolio backed up by comprehensive local sales and technical support to UK customers in the industrial, professional and medical markets.
