The 3rd edition of G-Star is scheduled to be held from 8 to 11 November 2007, and is a joint effort brought out by both the Ministry of Tourism and Culture of Korea and the Ministry of Information and Communication, and sponsored by KOTRA.
The G-Star organising committee has made several changes to the show this year so as to meet the needs of the games industry, most distinctly, by fulfilling more B2B needs instead of forging a platform of B2C as they did in hte past. The content of G-Star includes cellular phone games, PC games, online games, and so on; however, due to the outbreak of the gaming scandal that had overturned the gaming industry of Korea in the previous years, the Korean government has now taken even stricter attitude and prohibitions against arcade games which have made this category being unwillingly excluded out the list of exhibits by the G-Star organisers since G-Star 2006.
