Lejano Oeste Video, from Bally Wulff remains one of the most successful video machines on the Spanish market so far. The machine combines digital video game and mechanical reel game, and is popular throughout the Iberian peninsula and the Balearic Islands.
“Lejano Oeste is the premium class product of our arcade,” commented Carmen Lopez, supervisor of the Ralley arcade, at Avenida Punta Grossa in Cala Ferrera, a small holiday resort on Majorca’s east coast. Operator Jefe Francisco, who runs another arcade in Campos, has the licence for 52 amusement machines in Cala Ferrera - nine of which are payout machines. He attaches great importance to quality in the coin-op business. Lejano Oeste Video is the only video gaming machine in his arcade. “Many manufacturers are struggling with technical problems and their products have not been very convincing,” said Tim Wittenbecher, international sales manager. “But Bally Wulff Entertainment maintains high standards with regard to quality assurance and also acts quickly and progressively in the case of queries. Many manufacturers have tried to copy our video machines, above all Lejano Oeste Video,” he added. “One look into Spain’s bars, pubs and arcades proves this.”
