Astra Games revealed new games for Sectors B3 and C at last month’s Preview show. “The UK industry entered a new era on September 1st 2007, and the team at Astra, from games design through to dispatch, has taken an enthusiastic, proactive approach to this exciting time,” said Astra Managing Director Neil Chinn.
“The stand at Preview will present an eclectic mix of groundbreaking new developments, such as our new multiplayer “Triple Hot”, accompanied by more familiar names that have been fine tuned to take advantage of the new act.” Astra’s evergreen brand “Party Time” was represented by a Category C “Party Time Player”, re-designed to incorporate “playing off the win meter”, and the three different versions of the 2007 success “Party Time Double Decker”; single, three-player upright and four-player sit down arena.
The Category C spectacle was completed by “playing off the win meter“ Bullion Bars Player and Astra’s Category C video “Wintime” range of “Party Games”, “Reel King” and “Little Devils”; a true mix of new and familiar games. Section B3 was ably represented by Astra’s “Party Slots” multi-game compendium, a vibrant mix of established games - such as the seminal Party Games Slotto - and a combination of new games. The £1 stake / £500 jackpot range have been phenomenally successful for Astra, and this has translated into the considerable player appeal of “Party Slots. “Preview 2008 is the first opportunity to show the significant R & D investment Astra has placed in Category C games, bringing together the ideas and concepts that have guided our thinking over the last year and presenting what we believe is an innovative, performing collection of entertaining games,” said director of sales Alan Rogers.
