To strengthen the management of its entertainment market, crack down on illegal business activities and further promote a healthy development of the market, on August 1-30 the Cultural Market Administration Office of Zhengzhou City conducted a special rectifying activity in the cultural market of the city.
According to statistics, during the activity a total of 1,453 law enforcers were mobilized and 283 vehicles were in service. A total of 564 entertainment establishments were inspected and 58 were found to have engaged in illegal operations. In addition, eight places failed to follow fire preventive requirements, 27 establishments were ordered to rectify these faults and three received the penalty of business suspension. There were 15 entertainment establishments running without licences.
