These orders alone represent more than a 50% increase over the same printer model's expected sales for all of 2007. TransAct expects to begin shipments in the first quarter of 2008, with the majority of the units shipping in the first half of 2008. Bart C. Shuldman, Chairman, President and Chief Executive Officer of TransAct Technologies, said, “These are huge orders for TransAct and give us added confidence in our prospects for 2008. We are also optimistic that we will receive more thermal lottery printer orders for 2008.”
