Brent Sales/Namco Europe has secured distribution rights for the new version of Raptor Captor. Set to make its European debut at October’s Preview exhibition, the latest incarnation features an all-new, ball-shooting mechanism that greatly enhances gameplay on a model which has already been a number-one hit in the USA.
Manufactured by Californiabased 5 Star Redemption, Raptor Captor is a fun-based, ticketpayout skill game whose fast and simple technique is designed to keep players of all ages coming back for more. Players buy between one and five balls, which they shoot at the on-field dinosaur-themed targets in order to accumulate points. Four jackpot levels add to the exciting gameplay. “The big, colourful, neon-effect cabinet will suit a wide variety of locations,” said Brent/Namco sales and commercial director John McKenzie, “and, if cashbox figures are anything to go by, Stateside, where major retailer Dave & Busters has described the game as its ‘highest money maker’.”
