Crown Technologies, the successor company to Bergmann Automaten, has positioned itself as a provider of high-end products in the German gambling machine market. In Hamburg the company underlined its claim by staging a glittering premiere for the most elaborate multigambler ever seen in Germany, the Admiral Crown.
The company clearly sees a market for such machines, offering 25 games in a new slant-top design, appealing to new customer groups and, above all, female gamers. Crown Technologies is 90-percent owned by Austrian Gaming Industries GmbH (AGI), which itself is a wholly-owned subsidiary of Novomatic AG. The remaining ten percent is split between Crown Technology President Uwe Christiansen and AGI Managing Director Jens Halle, who is also the second managing director of Crown Technologies. Crown's operative manager is Ulrich Doppertin.
