The Indian Association of Amusement Parks and Industries (IAAPI) will hold the 8th Annual Trade Show from February 14 to 16, 2008 at Hall V at the Bombay Exhibition Centre, in Mumbai, India.
More than 80 companies from 15 countries welcomed over 2,000 visitors at IAAPI Trade Show 2007. The amusement and leisure Industry in India is on the verge of an explosive growth, according to the show organiser, who claims the Industry, growing by more than 25% in 2007, continues to grow at the same rate. IAAPI Trade Show 2007 provided an exciting opportunity for the amusement, leisure and entertainment industry leaders to discuss several critical issues. The show, besides facilitating business transactions, also provided exposure to international trends for participants from different countries. IAAPI is also striving to get the amusement and leisure industry acknowledged as a vital part of social infrastructure in India. The resultant exemption from entertainment tax would serve as an immense boost to the industry through increase in volumes as a result of lower ticket prices.
