Philips introduced a 22-inch 3D Display that provides an exciting, entertaining and engaging 3D experience, at InfoComm 2008 last month. The 22-inch 3D display, available as frame-mount and desktop, is ideal for use in digital signage for retail, point-of-sale advertising, gaming applications in casinos, games and 3D visualization. Thanks to the WOWvx technology used in Philips 3D Displays, no special viewing glasses are needed.

Rimini recently hosted the SAPAR AGM. The Committee announced the action plan of a political-legislative nature that will be pursued in coming months. First and foremost - obviously - the recognition by law of management companies, with a definition of their nature and requisites, apart from the decree regarding third party collectors.

Following the launch of Thomas Land at Drayton Manor Theme Park in the UK at the start of the 2008 season, the hugely popular new area has been given an added boost with the arrival of another passenger train from the Thomas and Friends series, Percy. His arrival will help take some of the "strain" off Thomas who has been working flat out since the beginning of the season taking passengers on a journey from Thomas Land to the Farmer McColl's Farm area of the park.
