Former sales manager, Emma Green has been promoted to the post of show manager, with responsibility for all sales, operational and marketing functions across the two shows. Jon Hales is upgraded from senior sales executive to sales manager for IGE, whilst Laura Mountford becomes senior sales executive for ATEI. Covering both shows, Paul Mills is elevated from senior operations executive to operations manager.

Milliken, the UK cue sport cloth manufacturer, will take its first steps into Canada next month (August) when it sponsors the 2008 Canadian Cue Sports Championships hosted by the Canadian Billiards & Snooker Association (CBSA). The Toronto event will be a true cue sport extravaganza featuring open and senior snooker tournaments with 40 playing in the open event and 12 vying for the senior's title.

Another electronic Casino saw its grand opening in the Bulgarian capital of Sofia in June under the label Palms Merkur Casino. The modern facility was jointly designed by Merkur Casino and the Bulgarian cooperation partner Casino Technology.

The new entertainment centre is approximately 600 sqm in size and is located in the heart of the city. It is jointly operated by both cooperation partners. The product portfolio includes a total of 62 innovative casino gaming machines, among them a very special attraction: a black piano with a genuine roulette bowl built in that can be used for both, playing regular roulette and playing piano.
