Previously there has been available the Mechanical or the Multicoin options but now with the new Optimum system the operator is able to programme three individual different price of play settings per day, seven days a week, alternatively, timed play can be selected by the player, again this option can be pre-programmed by the operator. As another alternative the player can choose to play Speed Pool, by selecting this option the player uses the start & stop button to control the displayed digital clock. The display is visual at all times and whatever option the player wishes to choose, he is prompted by this. Due to its very low power consumption the above options are driven by a normal 15v battery.

The latest addition to the Simply Pool range of tables again is another traditional style called the Kensington. The new low cost traditional pool table is available in 6' & 7' sizes and built to the same high quality standards as the top of the range Tournament model. However due to customer demand and in an effort to prove that UK manufacturing can not only compete on price but make substantial improvements on some imported tables, the management at Simply Pool felt it was essential to produce this model. It can be ordered as one standard, that is, mechanical Straight 6 operation in a mahogany finish with green 100% wool cloth and is generally available as an ex stock item. Should a customer require a variation of cloth colour this is possible however they would have to wait a week for the next production run. The cost is minimized by standard specification, batch production and removal of expensive brass fittings, however the result is a very credible product with clean sharp lines finished to a very high degree, ideally suited to say a tenanted situation where rents have to be competitive and reliability is essential.
