GLOBAL VR last month released the EA SPORTS NASCAR Racing Track and Team Update. This easy to install, low cost, software update delivers NASCAR's current team rosters placing drivers in their proper team cars, and adds two exciting new tracks to the many track selections previously available. In addition, players will be put behind the wheel of NASCAR's long awaited Car of Tomorrow.
John Ray, GLOBAL VR's Executive Producer and avid racing fan said, "We are very pleased that NASCAR Racing has proven to be such an exciting game for players and delivers on its promise of a quick ROI for operators." He went on to comment, "This update is intended to refresh the gaming experience for players while keeping earnings high for operators and locations. The new tracks include the very popular Atlanta Motor Speedway and the challenging Watkins Glen International, one of two NASCAR road courses. Road Courses provide players a brand new NASCAR Racing experience, as they must finesse their vehicle past both left and right turns as well as through elevation changes. It's not as easy as it looks."
The Car of Tomorrow is the current car style for the NASCAR Sprint Cup Series. The larger, boxier style boasts better safety, lower cost, less maintenance, and stronger competition. It succeeds the older, rounded stock car design used in the NASCAR modern era. The car was first implemented in the 2007 Cup season and began running full time in the 2008 season.
