Suzo International is the proud European distributor for Elo TouchSystems - the global leader in touch technology that develops, manufactures and markets a complete line of touch screen and touch monitor products.
It was at the ICE this January that Suzo International's Managing Director, Mr. Marcel Oelen, received a reward from top ELO management. The reason was clear: the unbeatable combination of ELO Touchscreen quality and Suzo International's European service capabilties.
Let's look at the product quality first. The APR technology has been widely accepted by the industry. Elo Acoustic Pulse Recognition (APR) touchscreens use a completely new and unique way of sensing touches on a display. Consisting only of a glass overlay mounted in front of the display, together with a small electronic controller board, APR technology provides a new set of benefits that have only been partially achieved before by other touch technologies.
Among the Elo best-selling products there is new line of wide-screen chassis touchmonitors in sizes from 19" to 32". The models included are the 3239L (32"), 2639L (26"), two 22" models; the 2239L and the soon to be released high-performance 2240L, 2039L (20") and the recently launched 19" model 1938L. All of them are designed for public use, very suited for gaming and casino applications and available with the Elo industry-leading touch technologies including IntelliTouch surface acoustic wave (SAW), capacitive and Acoustic Pulse Recognition (APR).
Like all Elo touchmonitors, these models are "designed-for-touch", with Elo's proven expertise and reliability built in, instead of touch added later by altering an existing monitor. As the monitor enclosure is controlled by Elo specifications and tooling, the monitors have a long-lasting product cycle, which is important for continuation through all phases of project roll-outs and for servicing. Furthermore, future generation panels can be phased in without external changes.
Additional features of Elo monitors are the integrated precision mini-bezel and seal which protects all touchscreen components and provides a watertight seal against spills, the multiple mounting options which add flexibility to installation configurations and the extremely fast and sensitive touch with a drift-free and accurate operation.
Now to the service side - Suzo International provides unbeatable service capabilities through its sales and technical staff from Suzo International in the Netherlands and its subsidiaries in Germany, Spain and Poland. Marcel Oelen commented on the ELO partnership, "The new APR technology has been a real break-through in the touchscreen technology. We are experiencing demand for ELO touchscreens from manufacturers all over Europe ELO fits into our best-in-class philosophy. Our customers can be rest assured that there can get the best products the industry offers from Suzo International.".
Mike Sigona of Elo Touchscreens stated, "Suzo's exceptional performance has seen a staggering eight-fold increase in sales volume with a number of major contract wins across Europe. In addition we have seen an increase in market share that can only be described as phenomenal. Our association with Suzo goes back to 1999 and has grown steadily over that time, blossoming into a highly fruitful and mutually beneficial relationship last year. This is due in no small part to Suzo's knowledge and experience of the European gaming market along with the company's exceptional reputation and international reach."
