    Catalonia collected 351.48 million euros in taxes on gaming in 2007, 4.85% more than the previous year, when it obtained 335.2 million, according to data from a study carried out by the professional business magazine for private gaming in Spain, Joc Privat. Once again Catalonia leads the way in the collection of taxes coming from private gaming in Spain, followed by the Madrid Autonomous Region (328.10 million), Andalusia (288.12 million) and the Canary Islands (111.54 million).
