After 10 years of highly successful partnership, AstroSystems and Eurocoin have signed a significant extension to their distribution agreement that will see the companies working together on the sales, service and support of the Global Bill Acceptor (GBA) range of banknote validators across Europe.
“We value our long-term relationship with AstroSystems very highly,” commented Colin Veitch, Sales Director of Eurocoin.
“We are delighted to have their continued confidence. The GBA note validator is a premium brand to hold in our portfolio, and we are looking forward to additional successes with this product line going forward.”
Over the past 12 months, AstroSystems and Eurocoin have carried out several road shows in countries such as the Czech Republic and Hungary, to promote the GBA HR1 validator and to discuss existing and future customer requirements. This has resulted in the introduction of an HR1 upgrade kit, which allows customers to upgrade older GBAII and C2E products to the specification of the latest GBA HR1 note validator.
The GBA HR1 continues to prove a popular note-validation choice in markets all over Europe and, by working closely in partnership with Eurocoin, contracts have been secured with several major OEMs.
Rob Austen, General Manager of AstroSystems, commented, “The ongoing commitment and achievement from Eurocoin has been integral in the success of the GBA HR1 note validator. Over the years, we have built a strong relationship with Eurocoin in all levels of the business and are pleased that a respected company such as Eurocoin continues to promote our GBA HR1 product. We anticipate that this continued collaboration, to promote and support our ranges of GBA banknote validators, will remain for many years to come.”
