PokerTek, Inc.. has surpassed its annual sales goal for Heads-Up Challenge tables within the first year. The first Heads-Up Challenge was available for purchase in November 2007. During the fourth quarter, the 1,000th table was sold. PokerTek credits its strong internal sales team and worldwide distributor network for this achievement.
"PokerTek could not have reached this milestone without our effective internal sales team and international distributors," commented PokerTek's President James Crawford. "Aristocrat has introduced our tables to the Australian market, and Starburst Coin has extended our sales into Canada. Sales generated by Cosmic Video Amusements have sky-rocketed across Europe. Thanks to the buzz created by our distributors, operators are eager to purchase Heads-Up Challenge."
Terry Farr, Chief Executive Officer of Cosmic Video Amusements said, "The European market has embraced this amusement product. Operators position these tables in their establishments to attract new patrons and offer a unique form of entertainment. The Heads-Up Challenge tables separate their bar from their competitors."
