The PC has 16:9 widescreen up to 1024x600 resolution, built-in dual Ethernet and optional WiFi module. It has the slimmest x86 based touch terminal with a weight of only 1.26 kg. The FPC-08W suits extended applications, such as thin client computers, in-vehicle systems, portable devices, digitalized home and POS/kiosk terminals.

In a similar way to the modular architecture concept from Avalue bigger screens (over 15 inch) in the FPC series, the FPC-08W is embedded with Avalue's 3.5 inch ultra low voltage single board computers (SBC). No-noise operation comes from a unique heat dissipation design without a fan, and the super-slim bezel design reduces the waste of material usages. It is very easy to maintain and upgrade.

Avalue has adopted AMD LX800 and Intel® Atom^TM CPU, and this green technology makes the entire system use only 12W of power.
