E-Service has released a unique, new 26" dedicated TFT LCD kit, designed as a drop-in replacement for the original CRT monitors in Midway's sit-down Cruis'n series of video games
The new kits, available to order immediately, are primarily positioned as a 25" CRT monitor replacement for the sit-down Midway games such as the Cruis'n franchise (USA/Off Road/World) and California Speed. The upright versions of these games unfortunately do not have a wide enough cabinet to accommodate the 26" LCD.
The brackets and bezel provided with the 26" Cruis'n Kit, along with its CGA-VGA capability make this offering a very practical and stylish upgrade.
"With CRT monitor availability almost a thing of the past, plus the poor quality driving experience for the player caused by screen burn on the older CRTs, this kit makes great sense for operators" commented E-Service UK Sales Manager Paul Smith. "It's a really cost-effective way to extend the life of what has always been a hugely popular Midway game"
