AstroSystems Ltd., the European division of currency validation specialist Astrosys International Ltd, has taken its portfolio of innovative bank note validation solutions to a new level with the release of the impressive GBA ST2 note acceptor.
The GBA ST2 combines the reliability of previous GBA validators with essential new features and options required in today's marketplace. With a stylish design, unprecedented ease of servicing and a capability, at 85mm, to accept even the world's widest notes, all requirements have been covered.
Whilst catering to the demands of cost-conscious currency applications, a generational change to the new "Sense Technology" note validation platform provides casino style levels of acceptance and counterfeit rejecting, whilst optical and mechanical security devices ensure protection against tampering and fraudulent manipulation.
Mechanically, the GBA ST2 is in a class of its own, with a completely removable top housing. This innovative, cable free design allows for the easiest of access to the note path and therefore affords minimal downtime. A simple "push and click" action secures the GBA ST2 to a range of modern and attractive mounting bezels and conversely, an easy "button push" release removes the unit for on-site handling.
The GBA ST2 accepts up to 32 notes, up to 85mm in width, in 4 directions via a blue illuminated note guide and offers FLASH download capabilities via either a USB flash drive or a comprehensive GBATalk software package.
Astrosys International Ltd will continue to support its range of coin and note handling products whilst maintaining a product development program. This year AstroSystems will be focusing on the launch and integration of the ST2 whilst considering future product that will be designed to meet any new market demands.
