Innovative Cash-Handling Solution for the International Market
Published:  16 June, 2009

adp Gauselmann GmbH is well-known for setting standards in the German AWP and amusement industry. This has been the case over the last three decades from this subsidiary of the Gauselmann Group, which is based in Eastern Westphalia. The industry highlight of the past two years within the field of cash-handling has been the "Merkur Dispenser 100".

"From the beginning of 2009, the Merkur Dispenser 100 is available for international markets. European manufacturers of premium machines can thus use the advantages of implementing the Merkur Dispenser 100 in their next cabinet update. This is an investment in the future," states Kai Buenger, International Sales Manager at Merkur Gaming GmbH (right).

This technical innovation is based on the JCM banknote reader and already controls the money handling in over 20,000 AWPs in Germany - providing the utmost convenience, precision and most of all security. Alongside the Euro - all further European currencies can be accepted and three different note denominations can be paid out again. A maximum of 102 notes can be stored in the dispenser within the Merkur Dispenser 100, providing ample flexibility to meet the increased requirements of dynamic gaming systems and modern operations.

"Operators profit not only from increased customer satisfaction but moreover from the greatly reduced amounts of service call-outs thanks to the Merkur Dispenser 100. Coin starvation and mechanical coin jams thus become a real rarity. This saves time, money and irritation. Machine down-time is also brought down to a minimum. This all adds up to an exceptionally good investment for all operators," explains Kai Buenger.

A Twin version is soon to follow the Merkur Single Dispenser 100. "The Merkur Twin-Dispenser allows two AWPs to be linked to this money-handling system that is secured in a steel cabinet," explains Matthias Hartsieker, Product Manager at Merkur Gaming GmbH (left)."The widely-used interface practically allows its integration in AWP's of nearly all the well-known manufacturers," continues Hartsieker. Thus, the Merkur Twin Dispenser is utmost effective, secure and convenient - not just in new machines but also for the majority of used machines in the marketplace due to the ingenious product variations.
