The total tax revenues from gaming (which include various taxes classified as both direct and indirect taxes) amounted to 2,016 million euro. This is 6 million euro more than in the same two months of 2008 (+ 0.3%). Among the revenues from gaming, the revenue from the lottery was 969 million euro (- 29 million euro, i.e. - 2.9%), and that from instant lotteries was 340 million euro (- 48 million euro, i.e. - 12.4%) whilst that from gaming machines and devices was 403 million euro (+ 4 million euro, i.e. +1.0%).
