The Cirsa Gaming Corporation has presented its results up to March of the present financial year. Cirsa has recorded an operating revenue of 411 million euros, with an operating profit of 52 million euros, which represents a growth of 9% over the same period of the previous year.
All the divisions of the Group have collaborated in attaining the objective, particularly the B2B Division which is continuing to consolidate its share of the market in Spain now standing at 54%. For its part, the Casino Division continues to grow in Latin America, especially in Argentina, Panama and Venezuela, with eleven extended rooms, 42 more gaming tables and 1,300 gaming machines. Lastly, the Operational Division has stabilized its results, in spite of the weakness in the Spanish market, opening 13 new arcades, which now brings the total number to 122. In this area of the business receipts in Italy grew by 3% in comparison with the same period last year. As regards sports betting, Sportium is making good progress in the Madrid Autonomous region with 65 points of sale, contributing to the stabilization of the results. Among the projects underway for this year we should mention the re-opening of the Bingo Estación in Cádiz, the conclusion of first stage of remodelling the Marbella Casino and work on a new Casino in Valencia whose opening is planned for next year.
