When acquiring new hardware there are many factors to take into consideration. How much room is there? What is the new hardware able to do? Where is it to be deployed? But above all: in what way can we be different from our competitors?

The potential for individualized configuration begins with the manufacturing process: how many displays should the hardware have? Should there be an integrated webcam to provide for live pictures or a subwoofer for even better sound? 

TAB Austria kiosk models are fitted to standard with a complete PC system, TFT display with touch screen and an I/O Controller with cctalk portal. Cctalk is a protocol for the serial port and allows communication between the computer and coin checker or banknote reader.  A serial security memory, also built in, prevents the manipulation or removal of coins.

On top of this there are many other potential options that make each terminal unique. Customers can be different from their competitors in terms of colour, finish, size and quality - and, if desired, all terminals may be manufactured to customers' specifications.

TAB Austria recently completed a major order for more than 25,000 kiosks from leading server-based gaming supplier The Gloval Draw.
